Allegations against Law Minister Salman Khurshid have snowballed into a political slugfest that has spilled out onto the streets of the national capital. After being forcibly detained for protesting in the heart of the capital, Arvind Kejriwal and his supporters have left the government in a fix by refusing to budge from the makeshift jail in Bawana until Law Minister Salman Khurshid resigns. Kejriwal, members of India Against Corruption as well as the Rashtriya Viklang Party were protesting against the alleged embezzlement of funds by a Trust run by Khurshid and his wife - Louise. Things got ugly after Kejriwal threatened to continue protesting till Prime Minister Manmohan Singh met him or Khurshid resigned. That is when the police stepped in and detained him. There was high drama as the protestors were whisked into waiting vans and buses and taken to Bawana.
