Rahul Gandhi, while addressing the crowds in Chandigarh, endorsed FDI in retail. He said that FDI simply means "giving farmers their due". Slamming the BJP, he further said that BJP will object to any kind of reform suggested by Congress. Rahul Gandhi is on a two-day visit to Punjab from Wednesday during which he will interact with party cadres. He will be interacting with party leaders in Amritsar, Jalandhar and Patiala. This is his first visit to the state since the party's debacle in the assembly elections.
