Good News: Paralympic Badminton champ Sanjeev eyes Asia Cup - NewsX

When 25-year-old Sanjeev Kumar won the singles' and doubles title in the 12th Senior National Paralympics Badminton Championships held in Bangalore early this week, the Punjab shuttler not only added two medals to his kitty but also defended his singles as well as doubles title at the championship. The shuttler, who trains at the Panjab University badminton courts under the guidance of coach Surinder Mahajan, defeated Maharashtra's Harish Bisht 21-7, 21-9 in the singles' final to claim his second successive singles' title in the national championships.
