The sand mafia in Madhya Pradesh is growing unabated by striking fear amid police personnel. Close in the heels of the killing of 28-year-old IPS officer Narendra Kumar in Morena while trying to arrest illegal miners, two police constables were attacked in the same area on Sunday. The constables were reportedly involved in confiscating a tractor, when the sand mafia members and supporters pelted both the constables with stones causing grievous injuries.
