NewsX: Gunbattle on between suspected militants, cops in Andhra Pradesh

In a joint operation, the Tamil Nadu and Andhra Pradesh Police are still battling three murder suspects holed up in Chittoor district, Andhra Pradesh.

A policeman was seriously injured on Saturday in Andhra Pradesh in a heavy gunbattle between cops and a banned terror group allegedly responsible for the killing of a Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader from Salem in Tamil Nadu, reports said.
