Members of Parliament will today bid farewell to President Pratibha Patil. The Parliament's Central Hall will host the function, to be attended by Vice President and Chairman of the Rajya Sabha Hamid Ansari, the Speaker of the Lok Sabha, Meira Kumar as well as the Prime Minister. Patil will exit from Rashtrapati Bhawan on Wednesday, the 25th of July, at the same time when Pranab Mukherjee is sworn in. Though her election to the first citizen of the nation was historic, Patil being the first woman to hold the office, she failed to create an impact.
