Speak out India is a NewsX special show which focuses on the main news event of the day. Here we focus on the news of demand from MPs to get special privilege in Delhi Metro. First it was Air India, now its the Delhi Metro. The VVIP syndrome is threating to overtake Aam admi's travel. Just two day after the demanding a special protocol from Air India, the MPs are reportedly demanding similar 'courtesies' at the metro stations. MPs apparently want special counters, staff to receive them at stations, facilitate their movement, and even assist them in boarding the trains. Airports may be able to deal with it but won't such privileges impact the efficiency of the metro? So we ask today- Is the MPs demand of special treatment in Delhi Metro outrageous? India comments and shares its views only at this NewsX special show 'Speak out India'.
