Even as a nation is outraged over the horrific rape of a 23-year-old paramedic student in Delhi, the rape horror continues to haunt India. In Saharsa in Bihar, an eight year old girl was allegedly gangraped and murdered. Again in Bihar, a 10th standard student was gangraped by 4 people, the heinous crime leaving the victim unconscious for 3 days. In Varanasi, school students were raped by their teacher. And in Rampur in Uttar Pradesh, a 12-year old girl was allegedly raped. And in Ghaziabad, a girl was found unconscious on a highway. After being medically examined, it was found that someone may have tried to rape her.
