Arvind Kejriwal expels two party member on charges of corruption
  • 5 years ago
Aam Aadmi Party chief Arvind Kejriwal today expelled two party members for allegedly offering tickets to contest next month's national election in exchange for bribes.

"We are removing Aruna Singh and one more person from the party. They asked for money from some people and promised them tickets. The transaction didn't take place, but talks happened," Mr Kejriwal said today.

The leaders were punished on a complaint by an aspirant, Rajesh, who wanted to contest the Lok Sabha polls on an AAP ticket from Misrikh in Uttar Pradesh.
