BJP denies ticket to Jaswant Singh from Barmer

The Bharatiya Janata Party's (BJP) ticket troubles continued to haunt it on Friday after senior leader Jaswant Singh expressed his annoyance over not being considered from Rajasthan's Barmer constituency and has indicated he "may even consider" contesting the Lok Sabha elections as an Independent. The BJP's refusal to give in to Singh's demand comes a day after party patriarch LK Advani accepted the party's diktat on where he will contest the national election from after a 24-hour sulk.
