Sources tell us that FM Pranab Mukherjee will be the front runner for the President's post. The party has almost zeroed down on his name barring a few last minute clearances. Pranab is personally very keen on his elevation for the top job. Congress is also keen to have its own political person in Rashtrapati Bhawan.
