Army commanders meet on Defence's preparedness - NewsX

Top Army commanders will meet in New Delhi today to take stock of the defence forces' preparedness level and to review procurement plan for the 12th plan. This meet comes weeks after Army Chief Gen V K Singh's alerted Prime Minister Manmohan Singh on Army's poor state of military preparedness in his sensational letter. The four-day long bi-annual Army commander's conference will include address by Union Defence minister A K Antony and Gen Singh.
