Inside Story : Rajasthan government Minister Babu Lal Nagar booked under rape case

India News :Rajasthan minister of state for dairy, Babu Lal Nagar was booked for allegedly beating up and raping a woman at his Civil Lines residence in Jaipur on Tuesday, a charge he claimed is a "political conspiracy" to malign his image ahead of the assembly elections.
Nagar has been booked under Sections 376 (rape) and 323 (voluntarily causing hurt) of the IPC.The case has been referred to the CID-Crime Branch as it involves a member of the Assembly.
