News X : Rape accused Rajasthan Minister Babulal Nagar gives CID the slip

Investigations into the rape allegations against former Rajasthan Minister Babulal Nagar were affected when the Minister went missing from his residence here on Monday morning.
A Crime Branch (CID) team went to Mr. Nagar's house at 10.30 a.m. but had to return empty-handed after a 45-minute wait.
Later, Mr. Nagar's son Ravi wrote a letter to the police saying his father had gone on a pilgrimage and the police would be informed when he returns. Mr. Nagar's personal secretary Balvir Singh offered the same explanation to the media.
Meanwhile, the opposition Bharatiya Janata Party said Mr. Nagar was simply avoiding a medical examination and accused Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot of shielding him
