India News: Social Democratic Party of India (SDPI) has blamed both Bharatiya Janata Party and ruling Samajwadi Party for the Muzaffarnagar violence. SDPI took out a demonstration march towards the residence of SP supremo Mulayam Singh Yadav here on Tuesday but they were stopped midway. Members of the party were shouting slogans against chief minister Akhilesh Yadav and demanding his resignation.

Muzaffarnagar district in western Uttar Pradesh saw bloody violence on September 7 which left around 50 people dead and scores wounded. Besides, thousands from both communities have fled their homes to save their lives.
