The very public and ugly row between the Army Chief and the MoD is only getting murkier now. Sources have told NewsX that the age row, the leak of the Army Chief's letter to the Prime Minister and the controversy over the troop movements have now peaked with an all-out battle for control of the Ministry of Defence between the bureaucrats and the armed forces.
It's an undeclared war, putting at stake India's natl security. The prize is control of the MoD, the highest policy making body of the defence forces, monopolized by bureaucrats. The Army, since last year has been demanding a greater role.
