BRICS nations express concern over Iran, Syria issue - NewsX

The BRICS nations have expressed concern over the situation developing around Iran's nuclear issue. But differing with the U.S on the issue, they firmly warned that any military action could result in "disastrous consequences". The five-nation grouping also expressed worries about the situation in Syria while calling for an immediate end to all violence and violations of human rights there. Standing up to the U.S a joint declaration after the meeting said that all the five nations India, China, Russia. Brazil and South Africa "recognize" Iran's right to peaceful uses of nuclear energy consistent with its international obligations.
