2 blacklisted firms to participate in Defence Expo - NewsX

The 4 day Defence expo is starting in New Delhi from today, under the shadow of corruption charges being faced by at least two of the companies setting up shop at the Fair. The event showcases naval and land defence systems made by over 500 global defence firms.
Defence ministry is in a tough spot this year at the Defence Expo with the presence of two of the six firms that had been blacklisted earlier this month. The Israel Military Industry and the German firm Rheinmetall have been both officially banned for 10 years by the ministry. The ministry's defence of course is that the companies had been allotted space much before they were blacklisted.
