Mysore: Man forces daughter to beg for getting poor marks - NewsX

In times when parents are increasingly realizing how fragile the minds of youngsters are, comes the shocking news of monstrous punitive action by a father in Mysore. This coffee-planter father of a 12-year-old girl was so enraged to see his daughter score poor marks in an exam that he forced her to beg in front of a temple. The police learnt of the incident and they summoned the man. Police took cognizance of a complaint filed by an NGO. The man has now been charged under the Juvenile Justice Act and is out on bail while the girl is now with the Child Welfare Committee.
