Dinesh Trivedi to stay as Rail Minister till March 20: Sources - NewsX

Sources have told NewsX that Railway Minister Dinesh Trivedi has got a lease of life till 20th March to defend and debate his Rail Budget proposals. Roll back virtually certain by the end of the debate on Rail Budget. This is to avoid a situation where the Rail Minister who presented the budget is not there to defend it. On another side, the issue of reported resignation of Railway Minister Dinesh Trivedi has rocked the Rajya Sabha with the Opposition demanding a statement from the government on it.
