India News: A senior BJP leader from Bihar, Giriraj Singh, on Monday strongly objected to Chief Minister Nitish Kumar's virtual attack on his Gujarat counterpart Narendra Modi over the latter's chances of becoming the NDA's prime ministerial candidate.

In the national capital as part of a BJP delegation from Bihar to meet party president Rajnath Singh over the issue, Giriraj Singh slammed Kumar, describing the JD-U leader's attack on Modi as unacceptable.

"The way the chief minister has commented on Narendra Modi in the JD-U meet is not correct. He is working in alliance with the BJP for about 17 years," Giriraj said.
