BJP Wants Modi at PM Candidate for 2014, NDA Opposes

Trouble continues in the National Democratic Alliance over the prime ministerial candidate to be projected by the coalition during the 2014 general elections.While the voices are growing within the BJP for the anointment of Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi as the BJP's prime ministerial face NDA partners don't seem to agree. JDU MLC Devesh Thakur and Sharad Yadav have emphasized that the party sees the anointing of Modi as a return to BJP's politics of exclusion based on staunch Hindutva.
