Even as the Delhi Government and the Centre are at loggerheads over stalling protestors from expressing their grief at India Gate, Delhi police have imposed section 144. In a bid to muzzle public outrage, the entire Central Delhi has been locked down. All the 10 metro stations in and around India Gate has been shut until further orders. The stations shut are Patel Chowk, Rajiv Chowk, Khan Market, Central Secretariat, Jor Bag, Udoyg Bhawan, Mandi House, Barakhamba Road and Pragati Maidan.
