Karnataka refused to release water to Tamil Nadu : Jayalalithaa

The two Chief Ministers met in Bangalore today to see if they could resolve the tussle over the Cauvery issue. The meeting was being held heeding the Supreme Court advice amid indications that a breakthrough is unlikely.
