Rescuers save 200 dogs from slaughter

The animal protection group Humane Society International are conducting a two-week rescue operation to save about 200 dogs from a dog farm in Hongseong county, 150 kilometres (93 miles) south of the capital Seoul. It is the fourteenth dog meat farm that the organisation has shut down since 2015, usually working with farm owners who a going out of business as public demand has dropped for traditional canine dishes.
