Slams the US,
Affecting 100 Million From Seattle to the Big Apple,
the storm delayed hundreds
of flights out of La Guardia and JFK and created havoc for
commuters all across
the northern U.S. Snow, freezing rain, sleet and
ice hampered motorists in
Milwaukee, Chicago, New York and Seattle. Seattle has experienced
the most snow this month
on record, closing schools
for the second straight day. Seattle weather service, Twitter The New Jersey Governor has
declared a state of emergency
for the entire state due to
the extreme weather. The storm system triggered
tornado warnings in
Mississippi and caused
flooding from Alabama to Florida. Hawaii also experienced
6o-foot waves and wind
gusts of almost 200 mph.
