Former India Pacer, DDCA senior selection committee Member Amit Bhandari attacked | वनइंडिया हिंदी

Former India pacer Amit Bhandari, who is chairman of the DDCA senior selection committee, was on Monday assaulted by a group of unidentified men during the Delhi senior team's training at the St Stephen's ground.Bhandari sustained head and ear injuries and was taken to Sant Paramanand Hospital at Civil Lines by his colleague Sukhvinder Singh. The goons fled before the cops could reach the spot.

भारतीय क्रिकेट टीम के पूर्व तेज गेंदबाज और डीडीसीए सीनियर चयन समिति के प्रमुख अमित भंडारी पर हमला करने वाले आरोपी अनुज डेढा को पुलिस ने घटना के कुछ देर बाद ही गिरफ्तार कर लिया। उसने दावा किया है कि मारपीट की शुरुआत पहले अमित भंडारी ने ही की थी। उसने पुलिस को दिए बयान में बताया कि अमित भंडारी ने उसके सिर पर बैट मारा है, इस बाबत अमित भंडारी की शिकायत पर गैर इरादतन हत्या की कोशिश और एक राय होकर जान से मारने की धमकी देने का मुकदमा पुलिस ने दर्ज कर लिया गया है।
