Congress president Rahul Gandhi has clarified that he did not discuss the Rafale deal when he met the ailing Goa chief minister Manohar Parrikar. Late last month, Rahul Gandhi had visited Parrikar to enquire about his health. A controversy erupted later when Gandhi claimed at a rally in Kochi that Parrikar had claimed he had nothing to do with the Rafale jet fighter deal. Parrikar in a letter denied having discussed the Rafale deal with Rahul Gandhi during the visit.
