Met With Backlash The singer announced an international tour, including stops in Australia, New Zealand and Sri Lanka. The social media post read, "See y'all soon" and the declaration, "The King of R&B." The post has since been deleted. The hashtag #MuteRKelly has been
trending recently in protest of his
sexual abuse allegations. Lifetime's docu-series, 'Surviving R. Kelly,' brought many of these allegations into
the spotlight. Many artists, including Lady Gaga, have expressed regret and apologized for
working with Kelly. His record label, RCA/Sony Music, has dropped the singer amidst the allegations.
