Texas Man Dies After E-Cigarette Reportedly Explodes

A twenty-four-year-old man in Fort Worth, Texas is said to have died after an e-cigarette explodes.

A twenty-four-year-old man in Fort Worth, Texas died after an e-cigarette reportedly exploded. "Shrapnel from the exploding vape pen peppered his skull and severed his left carotid artery on 27 January," Sky News reports. William Brown was reportedly in his grandmother's car outside of the vaporizer store where he purchased the device when the incident occurred.  According to the Star-Telegram, he got out of the vehicle and crawled onto the pavement before collapsing.  KXAS states that Brown was taken to an area hospital and died days later "after doctors had difficulty removing a three-inch piece of jagged metal from his head."
