A man in Sydney, Australia says his iPhone, which was in his back pocket, exploded when he fell off of his bike.

Over the years, iPhones have become thinner, faster, and more capable of performing a number of incredible tasks.
However, they can also experience an infrequent but serious malfunction, notes The Sun.
A man in Sydney, Australia says his iPhone, which was in his back pocket, exploded when he fell off of his bike.
Gareth Clear, who required hospitalization and surgical treatment for severe burns, said he first noticed smoke then,"…realised it was my phone and I was just flailing to get my trousers off and my phone had caused my two layers of shorts, my Skins and my cycling shorts, to melt."
The incident occurred on Sunday, and Clear says he has since spoken to Apple but is not entirely satisfied by its responses thus far, reports ninemsn.
