Signet Jewelers Agrees To $11M Settlement For Alleged Fraud

Business Insider reports the parent company of popular jewelry brands Kay Jewelers, Jared, and Zales has agreed to an $11 million settlement with the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB) and the New York Attorney General. The settlement is for penalties related to Signet Jewelers allegedly opening credit card accounts without consent from the customer.
