Reportedly Spying on Customers According to 'The Intercept,'

have confirmed that higher-ups working at the company have had "highly privileged access" to the live feeds of its customers. According to the report, the popular smart doorbell feed can be accessed by merely obtaining the customer's email address, making a security breach
easily accessible to
hackers as well. This discovery comes
shortly after the company
filed a new patent application that would use the doorbell footage combined with facial recognition technology to build a database of "suspicious persons." 'The Intercept' also reported that a Ukrainian Ring R&D team was able to access "every video created by every Ring camera around the world." The videos were found to be unencrypted, allowing access to anyone. When asked to comment,
