Tabung Haji: 2017 dividend payout contravened TH Act

Tabung Haji chief executive officer Zukri Samat said that the Islamic Pilgrimage Fund, Lembaga Tabung Haji was not supposed to have paid out dividends for 2017.
He said this was according to the Tabung Haji Act 1995 which states that the fund is not allowed to pay dividends if certain criterias are not met.
Zukri added that with recovery measures in place, the fund has manged to close the gap for 2018 and will be able to pay a dividend in accordance with the law. However, he also cautioned that it will not be much.
