Trump’s EPA Proposes Change To Allow More Coal Plant Mercury Emissions

President Donald Trump’s administration announced Friday that the Environmental Protection Agency will ease up on Obama-era rules which prevent coal-fired power plants from releasing dangerous pollutants into the air. Huffington Post reports EPA acting administrator Andrew Wheeler signed on to the proposed change on Thursday. It will be up for 60 days of public comment before a final ruling.
