West Coast Ports Experience Congestion Due To Retail Demand

Logistics firm MIQ Logistics said America’s West Coast ports is “experiencing extreme congestion.” Ports in Los Angeles and Long Beach are receiving many shipments from China According to Business Insider, the reason for this is because of strong retail demand. Retailers are trying to squeeze as many products from China before U.S. tariffs set in. Starting Jan.1, 2019, an import tax of 25 percent on $200 billion of goof from China will go into effect.
