A church in Tulsa, Oklahoma is making a statement on US immigration policies, placing its nativity scene inside a chain link fence, reports the New York Times. The Fellowship Congregational Church recently posted a picture of the display and wrote, "Joining with congregations all over the country standing for migrant rights at a time when we lift up the Holy Family."  Chris Moore, the church's pastor, told the New York Times that a number of those now coming to the US are "fleeing the same kinds of oppression and threats to their safety that the holy family was fleeing."  In an interview with KOKI, Moore also commented that US immigration policies have "nothing to do with weak or strong border security. We understand we are a nation of laws, but as people of faith, we have a moral obligation to treat these people with dignity and respect."
