Macaulay Culkin Recreates 'Home Alone' in New Ad for Google Google Assistant has released a new holiday ad inspired by the actor's classic 1990 holiday film. It follows the same plot as the movie, with Culkin waking up in an empty house alone expect for his Google Assistant. Throughout the ad, Culkin uses Google to easily help with tasks that gave him fits as child in the movie. To celebrate the holidays, Google has also packed some quotes from 'Home Alone' into Google Assistant. The Assistant and its mini version can be bought for $149 and $49 at the Google store, respectively.
