Elon Musk Could End Up Raising $1.3 Billion For SpaceX In 2018

According to a report by Wall Street Journal, SpaceX could raise another 500 million dollars in new funding this year that would be added to a 250 million dollar loan the company secured in November, as well as 507 million dollars in investments that SpaceX started selling in April. Business Insider reports that the money would be vital for achieving the company's various, decade-spanning, ambitious and interwoven goals.
