NASA’s most immediate goal is to send humans back to the Moon in just a couple of years, all in the hopes of setting up a lunar base as a jumping off point for an eventually mission to Mars. That mission to the red planet isn’t expected until after 2030, but Elon Musk of SpaceX says he thinks his company will do it much sooner.
