The Indian Premier League 2019 auction is almost here. A total of 346 players, including 226 Indians, are ready to go under the hammer on December 18 at Jaipur. This time around, the event will miss Richard Madley, who has been the face of the auction in all the past editions. Replacing him is Hugh Edmeades, an independent fine art, classic car and charity auctioneer. But the excitement of the auction solely revolves around the players, primarily the ones who are looking to make their way back into the spotlight. Among the players is Yuvraj Singh, whose equity has dropped significantly, but he still attracts enough attention.

इंडियन प्रीमियर लीग के 12वें सीजन की नीलामी मंगलवार को जयपुर में शुरू होगी, जहां कई दिग्गज खिलाड़ियों की बोली लगेगी. आईपीएल के इतिहास में सबसे बड़ी बोली पाने वाले स्टार भारतीय खिलाड़ी युवराज सिंह की साख नीलामी में दांव पर लगी होगी, युवराज जब लय में थे तब उनके लिये 16 करोड़ रुपये की बोली लगी थी, लेकिन पिछले सत्र में किंग्स इलेवन पंजाब ने उन्हें और क्रिस गेल को आधार कीमत दो करोड़ रुपये की कीमत के साथ टीम से जोड़ा था. गेल ने अपने प्रदर्शन से टीम विश्वास जीता तो वहीं युवराज आठ मैचों में सिर्फ 65 रन बना सके. इसमें कोई आश्चर्य नहीं कि टीम ने उन्हें रिलीज करने का फैसला किया
