Petty has convictions for
manslaughter and attempted rape. Minaj has posted photos
of the two of them on
her Instagram account. On one of the posts,
Minaj quotes Adele's song, "Hello." "Did you ever make it out of that town where nothing ever happens? ... it's no secret ... that the both of us ... are running out of time." She and Petty were
allegedly friends during
their youth in Queens. Petty was convicted of
first-degree attempted
rape when he was 16 years old. He served almost
four years in a
NY State prison. After being released, he was
convicted of first-degree
manslaughter and
served another 7 years.
