Robert Mueller Expected to Release Michael Flynn Sentencing Memo It has been a year since
Donald Trump’s former national security adviser agreed to cooperate with the special counsel. Last December, Flynn admitted to lying to the FBI about contacts with
Russian Ambassador Sergey Kislyak. At the time, he was the
first high-ranking Trump adviser
to agree to formally
cooperate with the probe. Since then, it has been a mystery as how much he has cooperated with Mueller, who is looking into inference by Russia in the 2016 election. Mueller is expected to describe the crimes Flynn committed that led to his guilty plea and how he has helped the probe. If he helped prosecutors significantly, his likely sentence will be between
zero to six months.
