Ford engineers were able to shave off 40 lbs. from an ordinary Ford GT by utilizing carbon-fiber wheels with titanium lug nuts, a special titanium exhaust, and a polycarbonate rear hatch. But in order to save more weight, everything in the cabin is stripped out. Thankfully, Ford decided to keep the SYNC 3 radio and air conditioning.
