Due to the water conditions and temperature remaining favourable (hovering around the 10 degree mark) I continued to bait-up the swim which we have been targeting for the last few weeks. Everything looked great for some evening action and there was still a chance of another big barbel or river carp. However, things didn't quite go according to plan...

If you want to see lots of landing-net action then you should probably look elsewhere.
