According to Business Insider, U.S. President Donald Trump was shocked to learn his top military officer doesn't make millions.
Citing a report from the Washington Post, President Trump mistakenly thought his top military officer makes $5 million per year.
Sources told the Post that Trump was surprised to find that the President’s Joint Chiefs of Staff, Retired Gen. Joe Dunford's base salary is less than $200,000.
