George Soros' philanthropy group, Open Society Foundations, accused Facebook of "underpinning our democracy." The group called Facebook's behavoir "deeply misguided and dangerous," Business Insider reports. The accusations come after a New York Times report revealed that the company tried to link Soros to the rise of anti-Facebook groups. The Times article found that Facebook hired a Republican-linked PR firm to combat widespread criticism of Facebook in the wake of its numerous scandals.
