Sanjay Khan on playing Tipu Sultan, surviving 73 surgeries and his autobiography

Actor and director Sanjay Khan (January 3, 1940) recently released his autobiography, The Best Mistakes of My Life. Known for starring and directing the epic historical fiction television series The Sword of Tipu Sultan in 1990, Khan is married to Zarine Khan, and have four children- Zayed Khan, Sussane Khan, Farah Khan Ali and Simone Arora. He is also the brother of the late Feroze Khan. In this interview, Khan talks about his autobiography, and the major incidents of his life. He speaks about the fire that broke out on the sets of The Sword of Tipu Sultan- claiming 52 lives, and Khan suffering third degree burns and spending 13 months in hospital.
