Satanic Temple Sues Netflix The Satanic Temple is suing Netflix
and Warner Bros. for $150 million for using a "copyrighted"
goat-headed statue According to the suit filed Thursday, the Satanic Temple is claiming copyright infringement, trademark violation and injury to business, since the statue of Baphomet was presented as a "symbol of evil"
in 'Sabrina.' The Satanic Temple, via court documents The Satanic Temple further
stated that Baphomet is meant to "promote First Amendment
values of separation of church
and state and equal protection." The suit also
alleges that the entertainment companies "blatantly misappropriated" and "unquestionably copied" the statue. Lucien Greaves, the Satanic Temple spokesperson, weighed in on the matter. Netflix and Warner Bros.
have yet to comment on the suit.
