Famously sad Wilfred Warrior, a two-year-old Chinchilla Persian, stares down the camera with apparent unsettling aggression from afar.

The furry feline has a striking underbite and a somewhat ghoulish stare which has acquired him a degree of celebrity.

While Wilfred's features aren't all that apparent from afar, as the camera slowly zooms in they become all too obvious.

"We saw his face on a pet selling website and wasn't planning to get a cat but it was love at first sight," said owner Jenna Millward.

"He really splits opinion! Many people say he is terrifyingly scary. Many people say he is the ugliest cat they ever saw. Many people say he is the most beautiful thing they ever saw!"

In reality, the cat is incredibly chilled out and has a very sociable personality, Millward has said in the past.
